“A Sculpture of A Snack” transforms an everyday bite into a meticulously crafted paper sculpture, supporting Print Center New York through a signed edition of 190.

Professor Imin Yeh has released A Sculpture of A Snack, a new edition created to benefit Print Center New York. Measuring just one inch square, the work reimagines a simple snack in acrylic on paper with a tracing-paper “salt” component. Presented on a walnut stand, the piece is housed in a hand-screenprinted box and produced in an edition of 190, each signed by the artist.

The edition marks the first published work to emerge from Yeh’s growing series of paper sculptures that replicate familiar food items — from soy sauce packets to slices of sashimi — with mouthwatering detail. These objects reflect a key thread in Yeh’s project-based practice: using paper not merely as a surface, but as a medium capable of transforming the mundane, spotlighting unseen labor, and playfully reworking the systems of value that shape everyday life.
